The buttons

Some parts of the HUD only appear when they are relevant, so yours may not show all of these at once.

Button	What it does
Main body	Opens the target picker — a list of people near you wearing a Fertility HUD. Clicking it also clears your current target first. See Targeting.
Boy / Girl icons	Appear when someone with a penis (Boy) or a vagina (Girl) is on the region. Click one to get a list of them in your local chat. Someone with both shows up in both lists.
Hearts	A heart next to the Boy or Girl icon means someone of that kind is targeting you right now.
Menu	Opens the actions menu for your current target. Short messages from the HUD also float above this button. If you are nursing, clicking Menu stops it.
Cycle	Shows your cycle stage by which way it is turned. When you are pregnant (and know it), clicking it opens the pregnancy menu: belly size, Feel for Kicks, and labor when the time comes. See The Cycle prim.
RLV	The OOC menu, always available: SafeWord, Block, RLV Status, and No Detach / Allow Detach. See OOC menu.
Online / Offline	Shows whether the HUD is paired. Click it to check.
Settings	Unpair — disconnects this HUD from your account. Almost all real settings are on the website instead.
WebLink	Opens this website.

Targeting

Almost everything you do with another player starts by targeting them. Click the main body of the HUD and pick a name.

Who the picker lists depends on the Orientation you set on your Dashboard's Profile tab:
- Straight — people with the opposite anatomy to yours.
- Gay / Lesbian — people with the same anatomy as yours.
- Bisexual, Pansexual, Queer, Asexual, Demisexual, Other — everyone.
- Not set — treated as straight.
If you have both a penis and a vagina (or neither), you always see everyone.
It shows up to 11 people.
People who block you, or whom you have blocked, never appear.

What the symbols mean

Symbol	In the picker / chat list
👀	This person is targeting you.
🎯	This person allows being forced.

Your current target's name floats over the HUD:

Float text	Meaning
👀 Name	You are targeting them, but they are not targeting you back.
❤❤ Name ❤❤	Mutual — you are targeting each other. Most actions need this.
🔑 Name 🔑	You are forcing them.
🔒 Name 🔒	They are forcing you.

While you are being forced you cannot change target. Use Struggle from the Menu, or SafeWord from the OOC menu, to get out.

The actions menu

Click Menu with a target selected. The server decides which buttons you get from your bodies, your target's settings, and what is going on between you, and the dialog explains each one. Anything on cooldown is listed under ⏳ Waiting with the minutes left.

Buttons depend only on which parts you each have, not on whether you picked Male, Female or Both. If you have both a penis and a vagina you get every action either one allows.

Button	When you get it
Cum Vaginal	Mutual target (or you are forcing them), you have a penis, they have a vagina. The only action that can get someone pregnant.
Cum Oral	Mutual target (or you are forcing them), you have a penis. They choose to swallow or spit — someone being forced always swallows.
Cum Anal	Mutual target (or you are forcing them), you have a penis. Works on anyone.
Orgasm	Mutual target, you have a vagina.
Check	Mutual target, or while forcing. Describes your partner's condition — how full they are, and hints about their cycle.
Nurse Milk	Your partner has breasts, is known to be pregnant, and has milk. A session is up to 50 sips of 0.1 ml, one about every 10 seconds.
Force	They are not targeting you back, and they have turned on Allow Force Interactions. Force is off for everyone until they opt in.
Force Cum	While forcing someone who has a penis — you make them cum. A second menu asks where: Oral (you swallow), Anal, or Vaginal if you have a vagina, which can get you pregnant.
Force Orgasm	While forcing someone who has a vagina — you make them orgasm.
Force Sit / Unsit	While forcing someone who has RLV enabled — sits them on a nearby object.
Struggle	While you are being forced. Costs stamina.
OOC	Always.

The Cycle prim

The Cycle prim only appears if you have a vagina, and then only when one of these is true:

You turned on Show Cycle in your Dashboard settings (off by default), or
You are on your period, or
You are pregnant and know it.

It turns to a different position for each stage of your cycle. Clicking it only does something while you are known to be pregnant.

Spoiler — can the HUD tell you that you're pregnant?

No. Until your pregnancy is discovered — by a pregnancy test, a doctor, or automatically around day 20 — the server tells your HUD that you are in the Fertile stage, because that is what an early pregnancy would look like. So the Cycle prim stays on Fertile and never gives the secret away.

If your Cycle prim stays on Fertile for longer than usual, draw your own conclusions.

OOC menu

Click the RLV button, or OOC in the actions menu. These always work, no matter what is happening in the scene.

Button	What it does
SafeWord	Immediately ends any force scene, releases every RLV restriction the HUD placed on you, and clears your cooldowns.
Block	Blocks your current target. Neither of you will see the other in scans again. Manage your blocklist on the Dashboard.
RLV Status	Shows which RLV restrictions are currently active on you.
No Detach / Allow Detach	Locks the HUD on so it cannot be removed (needs RLV). Only offered while you are not pregnant and not in a force scene.

Messages the HUD shows you

The HUD talks to you three ways: short text floating over the Menu button, a popup with an OK button, and private chat that only you can see. The ones that mean something needs fixing:

Message	What to do
HUD sleeping — touch to switch.	Another of your avatars is the active one. Touch to make this one active. See More than one avatar.
Pairing… Complete at website	Finish logging in or registering in your browser, then click the HUD.
This grid is not approved for FertilityHUD.	An admin has to approve your grid first.
This grid is blocking outbound HTTP.	The HUD cannot work on this grid at all. Ask the grid owner.
Push URL unavailable. Using tick-only mode.	This region does not let the server send messages directly to the HUD. It still works, but things can take up to about 30 seconds to show up. Nothing to fix on your side.
Could not reach the server. Reset your HUD to try again.	Reset the HUD scripts. If it keeps happening, the server may be down — check back later.
You are blocked by or have blocked this person.	One of you has blocked the other, so there are no actions.
Select a target first.	Click the HUD's main body and pick someone before opening Menu.

If something else is going wrong, use Contact Us. Your ticket automatically includes the state of your HUD, so you don't need to describe it.
