Pregnancy & Birth

Conception, finding out, weekly updates, belly, labor and multiples.

Getting pregnant

Pregnancy only comes from Cum Vaginal (or a Force Cum into a vagina), and only while the person with the womb is in the Fertile stage. There are two moments the game rolls for it:

  • The first time a particular person cums inside you in a 48-hour window. Cumming again from the same person adds more but does not roll again.
  • Once per RP day while you are Fertile, if anyone's cum is still inside you. So cum from before you became fertile can still count.

Each egg you released rolls on its own. If more than one person's cum is inside you, the father of each egg is picked at random, favouring whoever left more and more recently.

The chance

  1. Start with your Fertility Chance (30% by default; your race changes it).
  2. Add fertility boosts — from orgasms, Fertiva-20 and fertility injections. The total is capped at 95%.
  3. Multiply by the father's potency. 100% changes nothing; potency boosts (Full Reserve, Virilex) can raise it to 125%, and a father who set his potency lower makes it less likely.
  4. Take 25% off for each Cessera Pill dose you have running. Four doses means no chance at all.

A contraceptive implant blocks it outright.

Finding out

Nobody is told when a pregnancy starts — not you, not the father. Your HUD keeps showing you as Fertile. You find out in one of three ways:

  • A Pregnancy Test (see Items).
  • A doctor's pregnancy check (see Doctor Program).
  • Automatically, once you are 20 RP days along — by then it shows.

Once it is known, the Cycle prim shows Pregnant and the pregnancy menu, weekly updates and milk all switch on.

Spoiler — why a test can say negative

For the first 3 RP days the fertilized egg has not implanted yet. Tests and doctors both read negative in that time.

At 3 RP days each baby has an Implantation Success Rate chance (80% by default) to take. If none of them do, the pregnancy ends silently and you go back to Ovulate as if nothing happened. Nobody is told.

After implantation a doctor's check is always right. A pregnancy test is only right 70% of the time when you are pregnant — 3 in 10 come back negative anyway. A test never shows a false positive.

How long it lasts

A pregnancy lasts your Pregnancy Term: 280 RP days by default, which is about 140 real days at the default day length. Your race changes this a lot — from 120 RP days for Bunny to 400 for Dragon. See Races.

Turn on Show "Pregnant: X days" on my HUD in Dashboard → Settings to see the count over your HUD once the pregnancy is known.

Weekly updates and pregnancy moments

Every 7 RP days your HUD gives you a weekly update. Pregnancy Updates in Dashboard → Settings controls how much it says:

  • Full Detail (default) — "Week 12 of pregnancy: your baby is about the size of a plum. …" plus what you might be feeling.
  • Minimal — just the week and the symptom.
  • Off.

Pregnancy Roleplay Events adds small random moments — morning sickness, cravings and kicks — in your private chat. Each kind only happens in part of the pregnancy: sickness in the first 30%, cravings from 15% to 90%, kicks from 45% to the end.

SettingRoughly how often (12-hour RP day)
High (default)Every hour or two.
MediumEvery 8–12 hours.
LowAbout once a real day.
OffNever. Also hides Feel for Kicks.

Feel for Kicks

From 45% of the way through, the pregnancy menu has a Feel for Kicks button you can press whenever you like. If you and your partner are targeting each other, they feel it too.

Belly

Choose Big, Small or Off from the pregnancy menu (click the Cycle prim) or in Dashboard → Settings. It is Off until you choose. Your belly starts to show from week 6 and grows every week up to week 40.

While you are being forced, the menu has no Off button.

The belly shape can look a little sunken on some avatars once it is turned off or after a birth. A fix is being worked on.

Labor and birth

When you reach full term your HUD says "Your child is ready to be born." Labor never starts on its own — you choose when.

  1. Click the Cycle prim and press Start Labor. "Your water breaks. Contractions begin."
  2. Dilation — press Progress once for each centimetre, up to 10. The menu shows how far along you are.
  3. Pushing — "Active labor begins." Press Push: the first push is crowning, the second the shoulders, the third the birth.
  4. With more than one baby, pushing starts again for the next one.
  5. After the last baby the afterbirth comes on its own, and you go back to the start of Ovulate.

The menu does not reopen after each press — click the Cycle prim again for the next step. Nothing can go wrong during labor; take it at whatever pace suits your scene. A doctor can also press Progress and Push for you.

Your milk stops once the baby is born, unless you are on Prolacta-X.

Multiples

  • Fraternal twins come from more than one egg being fertilized — see Eggs and twins.
  • Identical twins: every fertilized egg has an Identical Twin Chance (2% by default) to split in two.

Each baby is a boy (48%) or a girl (52%). A baby takes one parent's race at random, with a small chance of a different race entirely.

Ending a pregnancy early

Only a Specialist doctor can end a pregnancy, and only before it is halfway through. A Specialist can also deliver the baby straight away once you reach full term, skipping labor. Both need your consent. See Doctor Program.
